Gambit and HSI Bring Wearable Autonomous Systems Control to the Tactical Edge

LOS ANGELES (Oct. 13, 2026) – Gambit today announced the integration of its autonomous systems software with Human Systems Integration (HSI) and its TacPAN™ wearable edge computing platform, extending multi-system command and control capabilities directly to mobile and dismounted operators.
The integration enables Gambit’s software stack to run on HSI wearable edge compute hardware, reducing the need for operators to carry and interact with a traditional laptop while in the field. By moving autonomous system control to the TacPAN wearable platform, operators can remain mobile while maintaining access to the software needed to direct and coordinate autonomous assets.
Gambit’s software is designed around operator-centric autonomy, allowing users to direct heterogeneous autonomous systems across multiple domains while reducing the burden of platform-by-platform control. The HSI integration extends that approach to a compact, wearable form factor designed for operations at the edge.
HSI’s TacSIGN™ technology also supports gesture-based interaction with autonomous systems, creating opportunities for more intuitive human-machine interfaces in environments where conventional input methods can be cumbersome or impractical.
“Autonomy becomes significantly more useful when the operator isn’t tied to a workstation,” said Gambit CEO Josh Giegel. “Integrating Gambit onto HSI’s wearable compute platform is another step toward giving operators the ability to coordinate autonomous systems wherever the mission takes them, with less equipment and less cognitive burden.”
“Integrating TacPAN and TacSIGN with the Gambit software stack creates a more intuitive way for warfighters to command-and-control autonomous systems,” said Brian Farrell, CEO of Human Systems Integration. “By pairing powerful edge compute with baselayer instrumentation, we can enable one operator to manage multiple autonomous assets, and deliver a more natural human-machine interface and a tactically feasible capability at the edge.”
The integration reflects a shared focus on improving how operators interact with increasingly capable and growing fleets of autonomous systems. Combining Gambit’s autonomy software with HSI’s wearable computing and HMI technologies provides a path toward lighter, more mobile and more intuitive control of autonomous assets in operational environments.

About Gambit
Gambit is an AI-first software company delivering multi-domain, collaborative, behavior-based intelligence for autonomous systems. Its platform is domain-agnostic and enables heterogeneous robotic teams to operate as coordinated units in complex and contested environments. Gambit allows operators to task robotic systems as they would human teams by defining mission objectives and behaviors, while its software translates that intent into distributed, real-time execution across fleets.
