Live Demonstration Scheduled for April 23

Los Angeles, CA (March 17, 2026) – Gambit and Pendleton UAS Range (PUR) announced a partnership to provide dedicated Red Force as a Service capabilities for counter UAS testing, vetting, validation, and operator training. The integrated capability will be demonstrated live on April 23 onsite at PUR.

As demand for counter UAS systems grows across military, federal, and critical infrastructure sectors, the need for realistic evaluation environments has become increasingly urgent. Pendleton’s Red Force as a Service capability builds upon their standard Red Force package to deliver a real-world structured airspace environment where cUAS products can be rigorously tested against coordinated multi-aircraft threat scenarios, enabling system developers and end users to validate detection performance, prioritization logic, engagement workflows, and operator readiness prior to deployment or demonstration.

"There’s a growing demand across defense and homeland security for counter-UAS systems that don’t just work in theory, but work under pressure. That’s what this partnership is about," said Jesse Steele, Range Manager. "Red Force as a Service at Pendleton enables programs to test against realistic, coordinated threats in a repeatable, controlled environment. It’s where good systems get sharper, and great systems get proven.”

To support coordinated execution within Pendleton’s Red Force environment, Gambit provides adaptive, behavior-based intelligence for autonomous systems. Its platform enables operators to define the mission space and assign behaviors while translating that intent into distributed, real-time execution across participating autonomous systems. By enabling heterogeneous systems to operate as coordinated units, the technology supports cUAS integration without increasing operator burden.

“If you want confidence in a counter-UAS system, you have to test it against threats that learn, adapt, and coordinate,” said Josh Giegel, Chief Executive Officer of Gambit. “Partnering with Pendleton helps create exactly that kind of environment for both system validation and operator training.”

All Red Team events are non-kinetic by default unless specific approvals and authorities are secured. Operations are conducted under established safety, risk mitigation, and regulatory compliance frameworks within a controlled environment in the national airspace.

Demonstration on April 23

The April 23 demonstration will showcase Red Force as a Service in action, including coordinated threat scenarios designed to stress and evaluate counter UAS systems.

Counter UAS manufacturers, military and federal agencies, critical infrastructure operators, and members of the media are encouraged to attend.
